Is he hosting other people's simfiles as his own on Zenius? If so, please list which ones they are so they can be removed.

This is an extremely familiar taste. I seem to recall this happening at Detach's old boards too.

He has 67 simfiles up on this site, so it'll be rather tedious to go through all of them to verify each one. Of course, if you've seen the simfiles somewhere before then it'll be easier to spot.

I think it might be better to just remove his section altogether and deny him access to another.

He has stolen some of my sims in FFR (not only him on FFR, but is one of).
What I've said in DDR:UK, we need to beat the problem, and keeping a cool simfiles artists community =)

W1p3out, could you do a quick check of his simfile category to see if one of your simfiles is there? I can't in all good judgment suspend his simfile category until I can verify that at least one simfile is stolen.

Count me in on this community. I've just started making simfiles and for this to happen has given me a cause for concern and worry.

To be honest, I never thought that people would steal others' work and pass it as their own so this saddens me.

Already done, and apparently, none of my simfiles are in Z-i-V.

Unforgettable is a rip off of DDR Encore and Sporks simfile. He's not even bothered to take out the CD title line in the SM. Spork commented on one of the videos he popped up on Youtube to confirm it; I'd link to the video, but he's already taken it down. Original file is here at the bottom of the page.

The Vanessa looks like it could be Encore's as well as the Infinite Cave, Go Beyond.

Unforgettable is totally ours. The only reason I point to the other ones is that the ratings are the same as ours. He didn't bother to put any difficulties for Doubles charts, but if they were there, it would point directly to us.

Quite a few months before this, he built up a reputation on DDR:UK's Banner/BG Remake Thread as a thief of others' work.

Ugh. This is... horrible. It's also one of the reasons I've never gotten up the nerve to post my simfiles online. (That and the fact that I think they suck.)

Okay you guys, get ready for this. Go Beyond!! is not Encore's chart... Technically. BUT:

-it's damn similar. Almost as if he took the original chart and merely turned all the steps certain ways, replacing some streams with jumps.

-it looks like there's supposed to be a background video. I say this because after the song started, it stayed on the random movie it went to first for the rest of the song. That's an indication that there's supposed to be a background video playing; you have to set it to 'random all' in the stepmania chart editor to fix it.

-the groove radars are almost exactly the same. Too close for comfort.

So... not saying anything... just saying what I noticed.

Yeah, I just looked at the SM file... it's supposed to have Encore's video playing in the background. But are there any rules against slightly altering others' charts and releasing them as your own? I mean, can you get in trouble for that? It seems to be something that'd be hard to prove...
