Posting Videos

I was just wondering if its possible to post videos of me doing DDR? I saw videos from other members but don't know if I can do it thanks.

Basically it involves recording your gameplay with a sreencapture software (snagit, fraps, etc.) AND a webcam/camera. From there on, you use a non-free software to superimpose the camera capture to the one used with the screencapture software (or possibly vice-versa).

Search on the stepmania forums, as that's where I read that guide, or ask revengmyass from bemanistyle if he still knows how (I saw his video lots of times before I saw the tutorial at stepmania forums).

No I meant that I have a camera and everything, but I was just wondering if I could post them on this site. Because well it would show alot of people where my DDR level is at.

It shouldn't be too different than posting a regular video. But of course beware the hate comments for the members who don't think that it's you.

And I can't really think of a reason why al2k4/brazen/piepiepie or bacon will refuse to post your video (except for the fact that it is stepmania and it might be frowned upon).

Yeah, everybody thought it was fake and actually somebody else using a keyboard when I posted my videos here. That's why I stopped posting them.

I just said that to separate the wheat (the people who were around when I made the thread, and know what happened) from the chaff (the noobs that don't know what happened).

On topic: rather than embedding the videos onto a thread, just create a thread and post links, kinda like how Kyzentun did. oh, and provide a link to your channel as well

Yeah, like silenttype01 said, just make a thread and post links in it. Those who are interested will read the thread, those who aren't will move on. The local DDR forum I post at has a forum section specifically for log threads, where people post threads to log their progress at DDR/ITG/whatever.
Just one thing: You have to beat my score on Pandemonium X's Disable da STACK. On video, of course.
