Question's up there - which songs would you have loved in SN2 EU CS, had Konami done their job properly, and why? It'll be interesting to see what you'd have wanted. One rule though, no licences that already exist in DDR. Including covers and future games.
My choice? Four Little Diamonds by Electric Light Orchestra. There's potential for a really fun 7 in there.

I don't know why, but I think they should of gotten My Favorite Things and Stealth, but thats just me, I'm sure someone would of said something different.

For some reason I'd actually would've liked to see Electric Six' "Gay Bar" in a Dancing Stage (or DDR) game. I remember watching this video a couple years ago, and I thought (besides that it was funny) that it somewhat fits in DDR.

Actually, this would be more fitting for Dancing Stage X with the whole urban theme and such...As for licenses that should have been: anything by Steps as long as it is not a ballad, because their songs were usually among the best of the preNOVA-licenses. Something by Sugababes (Red Dress, Push the Button) would also be okay in my book.
Or how about Irelande Douze Points by Dustin the Turkey (nothing says licensed exclusively for Europe like groovy Eurovision songs, right)?
