My YouTube got suspended. Not exactly the thing I wanted to see when I came home from Astronomy, but what are you gonna do? I'll spare the details, suffice to say that Winnie the Pooh played a role in it.
So, I'm in the midst of reconstructing another YouTube channel. Please add me as a friend if you were a friend of the old channel, or if you just wanna be friends on YouTube with me.

That sucks. Losing my YouTube account is actually one of my biggest fears. With over 200 videos but a crappy connection, re-uploading my stuff would take a large chunk of time out of my life.

Ya, and I'll bet it will be suspended for all eternity. Will they ever un-suspend your account, or at least allow to grab your videos before they get out of reach.

I would like to know if you could appeal it, even if you know for sure why it was suspended. 
I would heckle them until all the YouTube staff went mad if my YT was suspended.
Also, Winnie the Pooh? I simply must hear this one, do tell!

Meh, I got the usual three-videos down (All downed by Avex actually, haha) so they got rid of the account. I'm not planning on fighting it, but I am planning on never putting up Avex crap up again.

All legalities aside, why on earth would Avex care if someone put up a Winnie the Pooh video? If I'm correct, most people who watch Copyright-infringing movies do so because they are teens who want to save cash and still see whatever movie they want. That being said, Winnie the Pooh appeals pretty much only to toddlers, who would only see him if their older, moral parents bought some dumb VHS with Winnie the Pooh episodes on it.
So how does this make Avex lose money?
On the topic of total-BS removals, I had a RuneScape video removed a while back for whatever vacuous reason, even though there are another 200 or so unremoved RuneScape videos for every RS video I've found to be removed, including mine.
YouTube pretty much consists of a bunch of fat guys who sit around smoking crack all day, playing Russian Roulette on which video to remove next, eh?
So how does this make Avex lose money?

Avex is very stingy. Search, let's say, an Ayumi Hamasaki song, odds are, you'll never see music videos or live performances (basically anything which has Ayumi performing). Instead you'll get covers and AMVs (which is the next best thing, if you want the real mp3).
It's a wonder why they are the "One of the biggest and most popular independent record companies in the world" (not my words) if the only promotions are the usual (TV, concerts, guest performances, album, etc.).

I remember hearing once that a video/account only needs to be flagged a certain number of times by viewers to get the boot. Once enough flags go off, the higher-ups at YouTube get rid of the video and/or account.No need to check it for themselves, because the viewers obviously have enough integrity to tell the truth 100% of the time.
