Which of the two did you like better, and then discuss why you like that one better.

I personally enjoy Supernova better, because it had better BeForU songs on it than Supernova 2.

edit, I mean the DDR CS home versions.

...which is funny because the SAME BeForU songs appear on BOTH machines.

I like Supernova better cause they messed up the whole ES system in SN2 (imo). The only song I can get an AA on at an arcade is Kind Lady Laughing Out Loud

Edit: Didnt realize it was for the CS.

SuperNOVA is better. Although the interface isn't as good, it has well-stepped licenses, good choices from Japanese CS games, good CS songs, and all the boss songs from the Arcade version.

SN2 features a lot of the lower-end stepcharts from SN, the licenses range from good to blech, and it has very few songs from SN2 AC. It only featured 2 CS KOs...boo.

In terms of AMERICAN CS versions...SN over SN2, because SN2 gave us most of the leftovers from SN AC, which irked me. Plus, I didn't expect Love Is Dreaminess to end up in SN. Hell, I wasn't expecting any Ultramix songs in this game except the ones used in SN AC.

edit: 600 Combo!!!

yeah Supernova was great Smile Supernova 2 I felt like it was rushed, and they just threw songs in, and they didn't think once about what songs they were putting in there. But yeah Supernova had a lot of good J-Pop songs from BeForU and so forth.

"DINGDONG♥HEARTS"
SN or SN2? For me it's SuperNOVA for a couple of reasons:

1. FRECKLES
2. Love Is Dreaminess
3. Baile la Samba
4. Midnight Special
5. MAX 300 (Super-Max-Me Mix) (The first boss song I ever played ever!!!(on Ultramix2))

I hate SuperNova2 for the following:

1. Facsination ~eternal love mix~ it was already on SuperNOVA. It wasted a slot
2. bag; I still can't edit it.
3. We didn't get all of the graphical features from SuperNOVA2 AC (FPC anyone)
4. Hyper Master Mode Mission K-08; That's the only mission I have left to beat.Evil

Just hammer on it for a while whenever. With AJ6, you only need to get ~222 Marv, and the rest Perf.
I think there have been fewer ridiculous missions in each game, so I have high hopes for the mission mode in DDR X.

I'm not really sure which I prefer, as I don't play either much anymore.

Oops I should have been more specific! That's the only mission I have left to fill up the blue and yellow bar completely. I'm guessing that I can't receive any perfects in order to do so.

why does Konami have to make certain missions like almost impossible to pass, its ridculous, it was just like DDR HP for the Wii there were so many missions that were impossible to do. They even threw Toykyo Evoloved in tehre as a joke.

Oh, yeah, I gave up on going for 100% completion.
Make a lego machine to play the stepchart for you, and twiddle the bpm it plays it at until it gets it exactly right.

Both SuperNOVA2 JP and SuperNOVA JP = BEST , however SN2 licensed songs quality bit worst than SN1. I still like USA version for get some missing songs from prvious DDR like Freckless (KCP Re-Edit) because i don't have DDR MAX: DDR 6th Mix Cry

I prefer SN1 JP. SN2 JP not so good because some songs has some low-end stepcharts but Pluto Relinquish still the best.

SN US beats SN2 US CS anyday...i preferred it better than SN2 only on the count that it REALLY felt like playing SN on the arcade, cuz you had every BOSS song on there, good songs from previous mixes, good licenses, and the five songs you unlock from using the online portion of the game >_>

SN2 was nice...for a while, after i beat the game i was pretty satisfied with the song list...but then after a while, it just wasn't really..new...and Fascination was on there which to me was a big "wtf?"...waste of space -_-...but idk, it did feel kinda rushed...

hopefully DDR X can resolve this problem...or become the same problem as SN2 US CS made, but that's probably unlikely...i hope =/

I liked the licenses better in SN2 and actually like to play almost every song in the game, there are alot of songs I almost never play in SN1. The only thing I didn't like about SN2 was the dance master mode, Konami should've done the same thing SN2 like in SN1 with the planets and their own characters, I really enjoyed that.
