On August 13th 2008, I will submit what is to be my final simfile. It’s that date because it’s the 1 year anniversary when I submitted my 1st simfile (What to believe).
Why an I doing this?
I just can’t meat everyone’s expectations. I know some people have tried to make the files as best as possible and I thank you for the help. but If I change one thing, someone else has a problem with it. One of the main goals was to submit simfiles that everyone likes, but that did not go very well.
But the most popular reason is this… Next to no one downloads them anymore. My newer files have only got around 2 downloads a weak. This shows that 99% of you just don’t care anymore, so why bother.
It’s not all bad news. I will still be making simfiles for packs & contest, like the Beatmania pad pack, and others to come. If you still want new Bemani simfiles… I would check out. DJ DMA Original Simfiles or DJjeff Simfiles. For DDR Edits, I’d go with Silenttype01 Re-edits. They are better then some of my own files.
I'm sorry if I ticked anyone off with short and sudden announcement, Maybe someday, I’ll come back. but as for the day after August 13th 2008, I’m done.

Bummer............well..........do what I'm currently doing!
Go over some of your earlier stuff and improve on it. That's what I've been doing with ALL of my simfiles. You gain more experience the more you create simfiles so I'm pretty sure you'll see parts where you could have done better.
But most importantly, you shouldn't care about catering to the community. Everybody has a different taste. I for one, do not like double-stepping and I avoid overdoing the voltage for the sake of difficulty. I make my edits to show people my interpretation of the song.
Simply put: don't try to cater to everybody. Create simfiles for your own enjoyment.
Take the time off to take a look at Doubles charts. You'll see that some are meant to be fun and others are meant to be difficult. Good examples are your Strictly Business edit and your LITTLE BITCH edit respectively. I'm sorry that I never commented on your LITTLE BITCH edit.
aww shucksI'd rate you a 5 if I haven't already done so!you really mean that?
Edit: I just took a look at your signature -
where is it?! I understand the hiatus but don't abandon your categories!! Keep advertising them!!!

yeph. I like your simfile for some reasons than others.
for example :
I like Djeff's for his clubbing songs,
and yours for the tempo changes, and or stops.
I m still looking forward to your latest simfiles
-good luck-

Would you be willing to be a part of simfile projects, though? Like my next simfile project, Tempest.

Naturally, z-i-v's not actually that popular for custom downloads. That means the number's going to be much, much lower than you expect it ot be. I don't think my most popular file here's hit 100 d/l's yet, and it came out almost a year ago. Anyway, what would you rather want: to have lots of people download your steps and dislike them, or just a few to download them and love 'em?

You know what. I thank I just needed someone to say that to me. Here's what I'll do...

Go back and change the steps on the older bemani songs.
make

drop the ITG edits. Instead, other members can send me an edit of the steps. If people don't like my steps then send me you're own

I'll submit some more newer ones for a little bit. then I'll start the "reconstruction". there's a lot to be done, so it will take awhile.
I don't know if I'm going to drop the DDR edits or not. My problem is the Double steps, THEY TAKE FOREVER. that and they end up being very close to the single steps. But I think I have an idea for that.

Thanks for the advice everyone.
Now to somehow get this topic locked.
