Beatmania IIDX I really need help deciding.

Alright, I'm a huge fan of Beatmania IIDX, I have the USA version, and I really need a new version, the most difficult part is that I really wanna get Happy Sky because it has a really cool theme. I just wanna start somewhere, but I need help from the people that actually own the game. I have the swap magic program that allows me to play JP imports on my PS2.

So from what you guys know, and have, can you tell me about Beatmania IIDX Happy Sky?

I'm still not a god at Beatmania, and I can only pass with V from DJ Taka with a C, I am how ever getting better at the game.

is Bloody Tears that difficult in the game? or is it quite easy, and fun?

man japan has evrything!! They probably have IIDX 15 DJ Troopers for PS2 alredy.

wow thats a huge big frowny face I wish they could atleast try to do it again, but who knows. I would love to try Ghostbusters along with so many others, I don't like how I have to get the game from overseas, and then go threw the whole process of putting in my Swap Magic Disk. it takes to long sometimes, and I then I lose interest in playing the game that I wanted to play.

Oh well, maybe one day, they will eventually give us another Beatmania game. I would love that.

Bloody Tears is fairly easy. I'd still rather get DistorteD than Happy Sky. Though, I have both on my computer.

HOLD ON! First of all daikotou87, IIDX DJ TROOPERS CS isn't coming out till early next year. The score collection for the game starts august 1st and will go on till the 31st. Alan(Al2k4) predicts that we will see a CS release of DJ TROOPERS sometime in either January or February 2009. If you read the IIDX Forums or the site headlines once in a while, you'd know that! And lastly, the best CS release out right now is IIDX GOLD, which was released on May 29th 2008. I have every CS Release of IIDX Available for the PS2, from 3rd style all the way up to IIDX GOLD, Which is my favorite of all of them. DistorteD is good, but thats nothing compared to GOLD CS. With the new awesome CS Exclusives, Unlocks, and all the Arcade Exclusive music(Including GHOSTBUSTERS), Gold is the best one to get now. Also, gold, in my opinion, has the best Interface and theme out of all of them. You can get this and other CS releases of IIDX here:

Also, you can get a japanese PS2 there too. Thats where i got mine. Their cheap nowadays now that the PS3 is out. IIDX Gold has some awesome songs like vanessa, ghostbusters, fascination maxx, and gold rush. I think it has a better selection in my opinion

But, i'l admit, I do go back and play some of the older styles to re-live it. But once a new one comes out, I wanna move on to that one. Their is a good songlist for DistorteD, but Gold has got a great one. Anyway, why are putting down Gold ANYWAY!? It's the best CS release yet. Everyones been anticipating it back when the countdown to the release was going on. I love it, and a lot of other people do too, if you read the IIDX Golds CS Discussion Thread. Buy DistorteD if you want, but please don't forget about gold, it's really a great game and is a MUST-PLAY for any IIDX fan. I give it a solid 10 out of 10. FINE! I'l admit it. DistorteD had an Awesome songlist, but so does gold's.

Actually I think one of DJ Yoshitaka's best.
Gold is a good game but for songlist DistorteD is better.
Thats why I prefer DistorteD over Gold.

What I've found with both DistorteD and GOLD, is that they are really just hit or miss.
People LOVE DistorteD, but I'm not too fond of it.
There are only a few songs that really stand out in the CS release; Apocalypse, Zenius, Infinite Cave, super highway and the Cardinal Gate songs. Apart from those, the rest of the songs are just Ok.

I love GOLD, the only thing wrong with it is Watch Out! and Beginning of Life Remix's Hyper chart.
