As far as DancingStage SuperNova/DDR SuperNova is concerned, I'm not really happy about some of the crossovers. Xepher, AA, and No. 13 should have stayed in IIDX. I mean c'mon, how do you dance to No. 13!? Dragonblade should have stayed in GuitarFreaks....too many over-the-top crossovers. Why does DDR get all of our good songs!? >_<
What they SHOULD have done was make MORE new songs and get more licensed material exclusively for DDR. DDREXTREME is in the past and should stay as unique as possible, but nooooooooooo, let's REVIVE damn-nearly all KO's from EXTREME onto SuperNova. <_<

Well, what you say is true about the japanese release of DDR Supernova... But as far as Europe and US is concened, we never got to play all the Extreme songs. I rather see Supernova as a worldwide re-release of DDR Extreme, with some extra songs and a few bonuses (battle mode yay )
The game in itself is great for me : plenty of good songs and a better screen than Fusion had. However, I would have expected better graphics from a 2006 arcade release, something more like DDR Universe on X360, and a few backgrounds (like MAX300) are gone for no reason and replaced with those ugly dancing characters.
Oh yeah, and I hate the sound of the songwheel too ^^;

2006 ... well here is what I think.
1. Why get rid of all the old background videos and just replace it with a few generic dancers and environments? ... I think they got rid of anything that didn't have a specific video to it, like Tsugaru, Sakura and Trip Machines ... WHY?! They could have made the old videos into much better HIGH DEFINITION background videos.
2. Haven't they learned a thing or two about syncing properly!? I know a patch is coming and all but what the hell happened to their game testing team? It'd be better for them to get it right first time round .
3. Consider the usage of widescreen due to the fact if the pad is slightly misaligned you can see your steps properly. Our local DDRMAX2's pads were put way too far to the right, so if you were to dance on the 2P side, you will have slight trouble reading your part.
But, never the less, Healing-D-Vision, Fascination MAXX and CHAOS and a lot of other new songs are cool so I don't mind as much .

i think they should have used the xbox videos, personally.
the dancers could have been used for a few "new" songs instead.
