groovestats question

so i've been playing with itgmania recently and made a profile, but now i'm just finding out that apparently you can sync your profile to groovestats. i wouldn't have a problem with this but i downloaded itgmania before i got my hands on a softpad and i the just played with my keyboard while i was waiting, and it turns out that you can't submit plays with keyboard to gs

i think i heard that simply love comes with gs built into it but i don't know if that's exactly what i heard about it and so i'm kinda panicking worrying that i accidentally sent keyboard plays to gs

should i be worried, and if so, am i able to delete my keyboard plays?

In order to submit scores to GrooveStats you first need to connect your account in the ITGMania settings menu, so there's no need to worry if you haven't connected an account as your scores have not been submitted.

If you have connected a GS account and those scores have been logged:
* Sign into groovestats.com
* Go to Update Songs in the top bar
* Select a pack and scroll down to find the score you wish to delete, and click the Edit button next to it
* In the edit window, change the radio button above the Update button from "Edit" to "Delete"
* Click Update

ok thanks, i wasn't planning on using gs but i just wanted to make sure

you have to explicitly mark in your `Groovestats.ini` section `IsPadPlayer=1` to be get your scores uploaded and ranked. At least in ITGmania.
