A location test for maimai DX has been confirmed for Round1 Puente Hills Mall, California.

Let's see how this goes! Hopefully this brings potential for maimai DX to be available for more locations in USA and other parts of the world!

According to this Twitter thread, every Round 1 will eventually have it.

We already have PARADISE LOST with 70% of the songs missing, clearly that's good enough in their eyes :v

Is it mainly the licensed songs or the original songs that are missing? I could understand the licensed songs being mostly missing, but if it's the original, that would make absolutely no sense

The licensed songs, yeah, including the Touhou remixes. The GAME folder is also really badly gutted, if it's even there at all (it might just be the VARIETY and ORIGINAL folders, but it's been a while since I played Chunithm in a Round 1.

I see. I could understand that for non-SEGA licensed stuff due to licensing issues and everything. I’m just glad nothing’s happened to the originals, since that’s what Western arcade released used to do

Ooh, Dave and busters as the new test location :0. If the location tests work and Maimai DX buddies will be in all/most Dave and Busters then it gives me a reason to go back to Dave and Busters :^ I started really getting into Rhythm Games in the Culver City Dave and Busters, but the first time I went to Round1 and found out they have newer versions of Pump it Up and DanceDanceRevolution and Pump it Up (along with events available for DDR and actually online support for PIU) I abandoned it because Round1 was better, but now I might go there for MaiMai and possibly Taiko no Tatsujin (if they do a location test there that proves Taiko no Tatsujin will work) and POSSIBLY MORE BANDAI RHYTHM GAMES THAT WILL RESULT IN ME MAYBE BEING ABLE TO PLAY AIKATSU !
