I wonder if this is like DDR and they’re being phased out or like IIDX where it’s a new “current” offline version. Similar to like how Rootage became the new offline version along side Lincle when the Lightning cabs were released.

They might "phase out" the old cabs by offering one or two more software versions before killing them for good, like what happened with the old IIDX cabs which were kept alive from 27-30 but then turned into bricks once Epolis released.

Mmmm…so that explains why my Round 1’s legacy cab disappeared shortly after the release of Epolis.

When I asked about why the cabs in Moreno Valley Mall disappeared, the lady there told me they were just being moved to another store. Hopefully this was the real reason why they got taken away. >>;

Mine is down to just the lightning cab as well. IIDX is one of their busiest games and when I asked if they were going to get a second one, the tech told me “Probably not.” Yet there’s two Dance Around that barely get touched. >>

Don't know if it was mentioned here before, but Arena cabs are starting to pop up in US Round1s!

It's already up at Burbank Town Center, and I just called Moreno Valley Mall, and they confirmed they're getting the cabs too (though they don't know exactly when).

Yeah, my local Round1 tech told me that the cabs should be coming in early next week. by the end of the month.

Can you check if the new cabs have Premium stuff available, like the IIDX and SDVX US cabs?

They do!

There's 5 minute Premium for 2 credits, and then 15 minute premium for 3. The 15 minute one seems to be the most bang for your buck, if you're playing long version songs, since they eat up 2 stages in light/standard mode. It probably helps that there's no cameras on the cabs, so no worries about having to meet COPPA regulations.

Anyways, the new cabs were fine. It's neat that they now have an "Approach" scroll option for the Guitar Hero/Rock Band/Fortnite Festival players, so they'll feel right at home, but dear god the note timing is awful. XD

I read on Facebook that having the timing setting at +4 helps, and it sorta does, but supposedly a fix is being made. Other than that, the only real gripes I have with the Arena cabs are that the main monitor seems to have a lower resolution to it for the size (I know it's supposed to be 1080P), and the touch screen has really bad screen tearing when you're scrolling the songlist.

I'm not too bummed about the lack of 120hz, but hopefully that gets added, sometime in the future

Couldn’t find Relay (this one is really strange because it’s from another Konami game), Blue Bird, Diamonds…….so many songs gone……

Weird. SDVX and IIDX don't have any missing licenses on their US cabs, at least as far as I know. Wonder why they'd be dropped in Gitadora.

DANCE aROUND is also missing licenses, although JP is about to lose the remaining license we never got.

Went to my local Round1 yesterday and the Guitar Freaks was fully updated to the latest patch; it had all of the licensed music. The Drummania was one or two patches behind (somehow???) and it was missing licenses, yeah. I'm assuming it has them again now that it is updated.

Lol can someone link some resources on how to play Drummania?
I do not understand how the difficulty scale works
