Hi, I am new here, this is a great place :-)
I was wondering if DAT files are used with the Simfiles?
Similar to how ROM files are updated with emulation collections?
A DAT can be used with software like Clrmamepro to scan collections of files and see if they match the current DAT. That way you can tell if you have the latest version.
