Hi, is there any .sm to .aff file converters available? If not, then can someone make one? I want to see what stepmania/ddr songs look like in arcadezero or ade-ng (both are unofficial arcaea chart editors).
If there was one, here it what it will do:
It will support 4-panel and 6-panel songs (for 6-panel, the camera zooms out a bit and 2 more lanes are added, similar to what Pentiment, Arcana Eden and Testify do. Unlike these three songs, the zoomed out camera and additional lanes will be permanent for the whole song)
All arrows become tap notes
All freeze arrows become hold notes
All mines/shock arrows become trace notes disguised as fake tap notes (possibly)?
Songs with rolls and lifts in their charts will not be supported
If songs have stops in them, it will add a timing point with 0 bpm on the stop, and after the stop it will add a new timing point with the previous bpm before the stop (unless if there is a different bpm, in which it will use that instead)
Title are artist fields will be filled in
The chart designer field will always be "Konami"
"insert song name".mp3/ogg will be renamed to base.mp3/ogg
"insert song name"-jacket.png will be renamed to base.jpg
"insert song name"-bg.jpg/png" will be put into the custom bgs folder and the .aff file will use that
If there is a video, "insert song name".avi/mp4 will be renamed to base.avi/mp4
The color attribute will be light or conflict depending on the tone of the song (happy-sounding songs will be light, and dark-sounding songs will be conflict)
Currently, my best is making the charts by hand, but unfortunately it can get really difficult at times, especially if the song contains lots of weird rhythm, lots of stops or lots of hard-to-read arrows

It seems like you have an outlined plan on how the converter would work, so if I were you, I'd say make it yourself! 😀
If you don't know how to code, then perhaps find someone who can help you along your way. This seems like it would be a great learning experience for you. I'm not a programmer by any means, but there are plenty of people in SM communities (or maybe even Arcaea) that can assist you.
