Help with beware's extreme pro and tournament clarity edition noteskins

So i added custom speed mods in the language and theme .ini and they work fine however, Im having a very specific issue with the noteskins during gameplay. If I use any speed mod other than the default ones the noteskins always go back to the fallback noteskin and I am trying to use "note". I have tried a few different things such as changing the fallback skins to note, re downloading everything, replacing the entire noteskin folders themselves and making sure that ddrvivid is set to 0 in the .ini files. No matter what I try it goes to the default notekin or the game crashes and asks me to add random files. Any advice?
