It might very well BE the ITG version tweaked a bit. Nice that the flash video made it as the background! This is crazy, three games announced at once...

The title for this game is gorgeous apart from the 'Universe' bit which looks a bit... blurry.
Making the banners look like album art, or possibly in the case of the licences it may very well be the original album art itself, does make some sense. SingStar has been doing it since the beginning and it will save Konami time on creating banners if they mostly use the songs original existing art.
I was also thinking that for simfiles we could possibly use the results screen banner of the song like so:
"Brand new City Mode lets you compete against bosses throughout the DanceDanceRevolution city to become the ultimate champion."
This is something which should have been in DDR ages ago.

For my original simfiles, I mostly use existing graphics and tweak them to the appropriate size.

Well I hope they don't screw up with the AMOUNT of licenses this time,
U2 had great licenses which I find myself playing more often but it was mixed in with alot of shitty ones which shouldn't be there.
I don't really know who this Kors K is but from what people wrote, I have mixed feelings, and I really hope there are more onis and 10 footers in the game. If the game is good enough, I'm gunna trade in my Universe 1 + Dance Pad because Imight end up buying the package again since.. well the delay for the game only was beyond what I expected.. I still don't think it's out.
I'm not to sure about the gameplay.. how there is the banner when you play the song.. is it still in the song menu? Or is that the backround.. Well I don't really know, but with the ability to add your own songs I think might be the reason I'll buy the game.
