So you don’t just get the challenge charts for the new songs by buying their respective packs, you have to buy both packs to get both songs? And the challenge charts won’t be playable with tickets?

The songs are available in their respective packs regardless of if you buy both, the only things locked are the Challenge charts. This is the same arrangement as the jubeat 4-packs a few months ago.

As to the lack of ticket play availability for the Challenge charts, that would line up with how the mode's worked so far. My A3 folder in Grand Prix mode and my A3 folder in Arcade Premium mode are entirely different barring the Touhou songs previously available in arcades (which I think only show up if you've bought the respective packs).

Okay I didn’t realize the special packs worked like that. I looked at it and I sure don’t have Megalara Garuda Challenge, I guess I never realized because I can’t pass 18s and never wanted to play it. Still, that’s $4ish per pack not $30ish. $60 total for a couple challenge charts is steep but I guess that’s Grand Prix in general.

silly question but is it possible to delete scores in this game? mostly because i tried the new charts with a controller and i kinda want to set a new record for dance pad. of course i could just replay the song and set a new record but you know, curiosity.

There's still this many songs not already in the game? Granted I haven't followed that closely, but I thought Grand Prix launched with the intent of having most AC songs available at home.

Packs allow you to play the applicable songs when you only have the subscription. Any of the songs available by default in the arcade after SuperNOVA2 need tickets (pay per credit) to have access to play without getting them in a pack.
