Yo! Been trying to get this to work and I'm a bit stumped.
Basically in my latest project I want to create some courses, but I'm having trouble with courses not disappearing when you're on the wrong style of play. E.G. I have a course called Eleven featuring 4 songs with difficulties of 11, I'm not using the same 4 songs for the Doubles version of the course so I write a different course with this:
#COURSE:Eleven -Double-;
#BANNER:Eleven.png;
#SCRIPTER:Ben Speirs;
#STYLE:DOUBLES;
And then obviously the 4 songs.
However when playing Singles or Doubles, both versions of each course appear and they're all broken due to some songs not having even the same difficulty slot filled out for that song. I'm wording this really poorly I know haha.
I just want Doubles and Singles courses to not appear on the other style of play, anybody know if that's possible? I've tried changing #STYLE to DOUBLE as well as just DOUBLES, #STYLE for normal courses is #STYLE:SINGLE,VERSUS; which I believe from the guide I read is correct. Any help would be appreciated!

https://github.com/MadkaT182/DDRCourses/tree/master/Dance%20Dance%20Revolution%20X
You might be able to get it working by copying the format of one of these. The Dance Drill courses come in SINGLE and DOUBLE (how they are written in the .crs file) and MadkaT182 has them working properly. Worst case scenario just change the name of the course and songs in the .crs file while leaving everything else the same and it should work out for you, or maybe not, I'm not a professional.
Edit: also if you have auto gen courses turned on it will make singles versions of doubles courses and vice versa automatically for you. Double check that setting if your doubles courses are showing up in singles.
