I don't mean to offend anyone, but honestly, they really do. Take for example, Friday by Daniel Bedingfield. Great song, cut HORRIBLY smack in the middle of the second verse. Same way with Word Up by Cameo.
Seriously, it's the laziest cutting job I've ever seen.
I mean, some of the US cuts aren't that much better, but they at least have a real ENDING.

it's not just "Dancing Stage" songs - we've been getting bad music cuts in western games for years.
and most of the supernova songs are badly edited too - they just start abruptly rather than end that way.

PEACE(^^)v is the only SN cut that's good. Hence my calling them cuts, not edits.
Under The Sky is bearable, and Xepher's a bad song to begin with, so...
