Does anyone have or know where I can get MAX-EXTREME characters for SM5.1? Beginner Helpers especially (I think that's what they're called.) I know, I'm picky.

You can download characters from https://stepmaniathings.com/files/ be sure to download/extract the bones zip too. There's some themes on that page and noteskins that won't work in SM5 so make sure you don't accidentally download those to your character folder haha

The bad part is that they don't dance to the rhythm of the song. They are slower than the speed of music.

The MAX Game engine doesn't use 3d characters, the how to play ones are just rendered sprites

So, I can't seem to get these characters working, even though I'm sure I've followed the tutorial correctly. https://www.s-config.com/install-stepmania-characters-faq/
Dance moves in the base Characters folder? Check.
Each character has their own folder? Check.
Default folder intact? Never even touched it.
Is there something else I'm missing?

When I said "Dance Moves" I meant everything in the Animation + Helper Bones pack. So I sure I'm not missing that.Sorry for not being specific at first.
