after over 12 years ddrmax3 has been updated! the fangame that attempted to make something like the MAX-Extreme era of DDR has been updated with higher quality video and graphics along with many new songs! go check it out
also effective immediately, nDDRo is back. we've got some new songs for you to try out.

ddrmax3 had a 3.9 stepmania theme, but this time around there's no theme, just a big pack of stepfiles to use anywhere. they all have banners and jackets so they should look fine in most themes.

Hype! DDRMAX3 is one of the projects inspired me make simfiles of my own for the first time, plus is an amazing predecessor to other projects like DDR XX!

Nooooo waaaaay. MAX3 was easily my most played fan mix. I'm super pumped to try out the new charts! Logo looks amazing as well!

thanks everybody.
i am now working to make everything work with 3.9, like ddrmax3 used to. a download option to use lower resolution background videos will also be provided, and a slightly updated max3 theme as well. i am sorry that i kind of left 3.9 players out of this, hopefully this will all be done fairly soon.

there will also be a patch that changes all of ddrmax3 to use x-scale, but by default everything we do will use the old 1-10 scale

I actually went through and did it myself on ArrowVortex -- a lot of them were at a glance so they may be off, but if anyone wants them let me know (or you can just wait for the official ones, haha)

i'd like to have them, that'd save me a lot of time. quite frankly i'm not too familiar with the newest ddr games or the x-scale so it's likely your guess is better than mine. i will consult with others about the x-scale rating for the 9-10 footers before releasing anything.

It's super exciting to see all of you guys return to the StepMania community, and to do so with such a huge renovation for DDRMAX3 as well as your guys' website is the cherry on top of this sundae! I just finished downloading the DDRMAX3 Plus song pack, and I'm loving the wide variety that's present here. I still have yet to download the videos that are associated with every song, but I'm planning on doing so as well as moving the song pack to StepMania 5. Thank you to everyone associated with nDDRo that contributed to this update~!
