You know, I'm starting to notice a pattern between all these version updates.

Booth + IV: Both are blue.
II + Vivid Wave: Both are pink.
III + Exceed Gear: Both have themes related to battle.

Blue -> Pink -> Battle-related

Most likely they will be quietly phased out like the IIDX Legacy cabinets. To be honest the current cabinet asthetic is based on the first version and is kinda outdated. It was time for a sleek refresh and It looks amazing!

I guess Voltenizer Maxima is gonna get a redesign too, huh.

I mean, they are doing the same with other Bemani titles, making two types of cabinets and introducing new features and exclusive songs. You have the case of DDR and the gold cab, IIDX and the lightning cab, pop'n and the new touch panel cab, jubeat and the 2.0 cab and now with SDVX with this valkyrie cab.

Yeah that's true, But due to the technical and visual advances the IIDX Lightning Model has over the Legacy cabinet, and the fact Legacy won't get the exclusive Lightning songs even tho Legacy is on the same version and Konami is leaving songs out of Legacy that it should get(Make the Lightning model exclusives exclusive for a bit then unlock them on Legacy which I heard was the original plan but it never happened), and from what I'm hearing, legacy cabs are being slowly replaced by the Lightnings in Japan, it's safe to say Konami is going to be slowly phasing them out. Not right away, but eventually.

This is probably a dumb question, but considering I haven't been able to go to a Round1 in over a year, I kinda want to ask, for those who might have access to this game: Has Konami added multi-language support, similar to what they've done with DDR/IIDX?

I'm sure it's gonna be a good while before R1 even thinks about importing Valkyrie model cabs, but it would be a nice surprise once California locations open up, again. >>
