Official site
Well, I can say I didn't expect eAmuse Cloud Gitadora to be a thing. Open alpha for this is now live, with the following songs:
El Dorado / TAG (with both CLASSIC and modern charts)
JET WORLD / 泉 陸奥彦 (same as above)
春待ち花 / 二代目 天下茶屋子
めた・メタ?ひまわり*パンチ / ひまわり*パンチ
The download link for the game is the big orange rectangle on the official site linked above.

Huh, interesting. I guess Konami will start doing CS releases only on PC now?

Looks like they decided to halt the service for this game already (though they plan to continue it soon). It can still be downloaded and installed, but selecting Game Start just gives an error.
The tutorial still works, and can even be set to English, Korean, or Chinese! (There doesn't seem to be a way to set the menus to English, though.)

It’s great news to see more games coming to pc...but I wish they would finish and release their other projects first like ultimate mobile and DDR V.

Another BEMANI game for PC that will only be supported in Japan.
Konami. Why don't you get BEMANI PC games for the West through Steam. I want those games on Steam to remove support for the e-Amusement service and add songs via free updates or by DLC and have support for Steam Workshop.
They imagine they would release beatmania IIDX on Steam and have Workshop support to add songs made by the community. Both songs from previous games that were not revived in current installments and songs made by the BMS community.

They did fix whatever issue caused them to take the game offline, and the game is playable now. The game does have to be re-downloaded and reinstalled.

Yea, sure boi. As everyone knows how greedy are in KONMAI... that never gonna happen... or else, just ask Degica and Groove Dead Coaster lol.
Oh, if you need a community workshop, as you say, just keep on Lunatic Rave (LR2), that is the only definitve place.

Played it for a little bit; it's what I expected. It seems to be a straight port of the arcade release.
Most interestingly, the game has a language select right before the song select screen. Only the song select screen and tutorial are translated, everything else from song titles to the custom options menu are left in Japanese even in English mode. I've read this was as far as it went in the arcade version as well, but I haven't played Gitadora in years.
There's no way to set the keyboard controls beyond the default setup (ZXCVB, arrow keys for strum on GuitarFreaks), but you can set up controllers. It seems to work with a Wii Guitar Hero controller and an 8BitDo Gbros. Adapter, but it turned out my controller had a non-working red button, so I couldn't really test it fully.
From what I've seen, there is an issue: if your controller has a button mapped to whatever Gitadora wants the Help button to be mapped to, it won't work. You can't remap the Help button; the only way past it is to use a program that maps controller buttons to the keyboard.
This is an alpha with a few issues, but it's a way better alpha than DDR V.

You need to stop with the pipe dreams pal, enough with this crap. Konami don't care about the west, they hate the west, we are not their target market, we are not getting this not now or ever. Stop it. You're seriously asking for an impossible errand and with the financial state of Konami right now, asking them to release bemani CS in the west again is like asking them to go bankrupt and they're not gonna waste their time on a market outside their own, and like I said, Konami don't give 2 craps about the west. Give it a damn rest.

I highly doubt it. I can't even get ASCs working for SDVX III CS and INFINITAS. Hopefully they'll add the option to allow custom configuration like in SDVX.

You know what you're right. I guess I'm tired of seeing so much optimism for CS when it can never be the way it was anymore and we need to start educating those who are in the dark about the current stuff with 573. We will never see CS anymore in the west the way it was and people need to get a grip on this. All your pipe dream wishes will be dashed. And I'm fine, I'm just addressing the facts. And if people want CS so badly, start paying attention to all the Cloud bemani Konami is doing now, and they didn't have to give us anything at home at all.
