Less of an upward trend than I thought, interesting information. Challenge in particular being all over the place isn't a surprise to me.

These are some interesting odds. I'm thinking because of A20 being the latest release and having not nearly as much Challenge charts as the other mixes, that's why it's low. This will change over time, of course.
Nice analytics.

Actually, the average difficulty of A20 being lower than that of A is pretty much solely because of DOWNER & UPPER

Time to start betting, whoever gets closest to the average challenge difficulty of A20 by the time the next mix comes out wins bragging rights for eternity
I think the average A20 Challenge chart difficulty is going to be 16.35.

I'm surprised that X2 is lower than X for Challenge difficulty. What caused that?

I would guess the license's shock arrow charts that are 4s and 5s skewed it lower than X. Also X had more challenge charts in general because of the X specials.

Also remember that most, if not all, Shock Arrow challenge charts in both X and X2 came from their CS counterparts. It wouldn't be until around X3 that Shock Arrow charts became more creative.

AH I'm getting my wires crossed a little. I thought the super-easy stuff on Challenge like Dream on Dreamer was in X instead of X2.

A lot of the early Shock Arrow charts were based on one of the lower difficulties with Shock Arrows added in, I think.
