Goodbye, chances for the Philippines to get a proper online Groove Coaster AC release.
Otherwise, I'm curious on what kind of new stuff they have in store for this version... maybe Live2D characters? (Since there's probably no room for change on the already-stable gameplay mechanics...)

GC Mobile is still literally on 2.
GC Switch updates stopped.
GC Steam... We don't talk about that but got abandoned.

I think it's weird that they're stopping the game because they ran out of hard drive space; not because the player base has gone down, or they're announcing a new hardware revision to replace it.
I know they're owned by Square Enix, so I think they have something to do with it. :/
I'm gonna miss Groove Coaster; their original music had a lot of variety not seen in rhythm games since the mid-00's. : (

Wait they're cancelling the game because they ran out of hard drive space??? Are you kidding me!? Wow! And of course Square Enix is it's parent company so the cost cutting, cancelling the series instead of upgrading the PC to make more space and hardware to continue it, doesn't surprise me. Just wow! This is dumb and sad on so many levels. Gonna miss Groove Coaster. Such a dumb move to cancel it over lack of space on the PC

While the arcade version was declared virtually dead, because their will still with online service, doing events and campaings. Days before said announcement, the twitter account published two interesting points:
1.- They announced what would be the OFFICIAL navigator for the Switch version. Which at the time, was quite hype, due to the content that has gradually been coming out, whatever it is, lately it was a VOCALOID pack. https://twitter.com/groove_coaster/status/1585957784335835136
2.- In relation to the content, a new collab was confirmed with (my gosh) CHRONO CIRCLE, in November. https://twitter.com/groove_coaster/status/1585958703060373505
In addition, the same statement apparently indicated that the Switch version will continue to receive content, recycled or not? Who knows... That means, the Switch version will be now, the actual standalone version?? Who knows!!
