Kinda wish they were fixing the Steam version, but whatever. Maybe when that comes out, we'll get the songs from that version to Steam. Wouldn't hold my breath though. At least you don't need a phone to play GC on the go, so...yay?

Apparently, one of the big features is that with certain songs, you can replace the vocals from the original to being sung by "Vtubers" (whatever that means). So that's another thing that sets it apart from the very-dead Steam version.

I'm personally the most concerned about the control scheme, with the Steam version not handling it exactly the best with timing and overall just... Working well
Maybe a controller for it is to come? But, if this turns out well I'll have to take the plunge and get a switch. I'm just not fully convinced yet

I noticed that both of the packs have a mystery song. Could we be getting Deltarune content in the Undertale pack?
My guess would be potentially the megalovania remix from smash?Oops quoted the wrong person.

Seeing the cover of that song, it better be an old-skool funk song I can ride my low-rider to. :U

There were actually a number of new songs and other stuff revealed for the game during Taito's TGS livestreams including:
AIAIAI (feat. 中田ヤスタカ) / Kizuna AI
https://twitter.com/groove_coaster/status/1172717194142109699
ミライトミライ / ミライアカリ
https://twitter.com/groove_coaster/status/1172717496148774913
An indignant world / t+pazolite vs Shohei Tsuchiya (Same one as above)

Cosmic Ray / COSYS(COSIO & YS)
https://twitter.com/groove_coaster/status/1173059901263773696
A new DECO*27 song
https://youtu.be/HQPgHScdoOs?t=1550
The Light / W&W ft. Kizuna AI
https://youtu.be/HQPgHScdoOs?t=1659
There were snippets of each of the songs during the streams, so you can check there if you're curious as to what they sound like. They all sound pretty good to me personally.
What looks to be a new course mode was also shown.
https://youtu.be/7p6TEMmBO6I?t=2218
A couple of DLC packs were also announced (that haven't been posted here already) including a touhou and vocaloid pack.
They ended up showing a good amount of gameplay during the streams, so if you're curious as to how the game will look and play I'd recommend taking a look at them. Gameplay-wise it looks mostly the same, minus a couple of font changes and a new UI (which I actually really like the look of to be honest.) The single joy-con control style looks pretty awkward in my opinion, but I'm assuming it wont be the only control style for the game.
They also announced that a playable build will be available at the upcoming Hakurei Shrine Autumn Festival which will include a number of Touhou songs, mostly consisting of ones already available on the arcade version.

On originals, a good few have already been confirmed to be available in the game at launch, so I'm going to assume there will be a number of them in the game, they just aren't using them as much in the marketing.

And custom SFX confirmed too...
Once again, WHY DIDN'T THE STEAM VERSION GET ANY OF THIS?!
Unless we get a surprise announcement that there's going to be a WaiWai Party update on PC, I guess I'll buy this game when it comes out, since it looks like we have a competent team making this game. >>

Ask Degica... and Taito as well for the lack of support. Really, at this time i’m strongly not surprise by all this ORIGINAL CONTENT that Steam version doesn’t get and will NOT get. I’m pretty sure of that.Post #17 · Posted at 2019-09-28 01:20:46am 5.2 years ago

Oh yeaah, we could hook a Switch up to a PC monitor easily. The best part? Unlike the steam version, you can just set Tate mode in the menu and not have to manually adjust the monitor of the Switch's menus or whatever. 8I
