Hey guys!
I've had the energy pad for a while now. Usually when the arrows become less responsive and cleaning doesn't do the trick anymore, I order replacement arrows. I noticed that the only difference that the new arrows have is a fresh coating of some sticky adhesive on the metal sheet. I'm wondering if anyone knows exactly what it is, and if buying some and applying it to my panels would make them responsive again.

You can just replace that foil with aluminium foil. You can tape it on all 4 sides of the aluminium if you don't want to glue it. The residue is probably just over spray of adhesive glue. That wouldn't be helping unless it was a metallic glue - however in these applications it wouldn't need that.
If you want to test if foil will work for you, just take an arrow off and tap new foil on the sensor on the pad to see if it makes the arrow work. It'll be a much cheaper and easier fix for you down the line rather than continuing to buy new arrows.
