Also are Naoki's songs becoming the new "which PINK PONG will be removed in the next game"? Rootage removing BRILLIANT 2U was already weird but now 27 removing MAX 300 feels really weird. I wouldn't be surprised if IIDX 28 somehow removes Kakumei

Oh i feel so bad for some songs i enjoyed a lot (like Atropos, Guilty, Transport, Summer and Scream the life) but the mayority are kind of forgettable (This include MAX 300, the chart didn't do justice to the song)

Overall this removal list is not so bad. MAX 300 getting cut is kind of a shocker but nothing heartbreaking for me.

I'm going to make a guess that this game is coming out on November 19. Not because of the song 19, November but because if you watch SCREAM THE LIFE's video it has that date playing through the whole song.

I’m not at all surprised the three SINOBUZ licenses are going. It seems like more recent IIDX licensed songs have a three game shelf life. Expect I’m Coming (2017 Version), The Revolution (V.I.P Mix), Vox Rush, and (possibly) son, not gabba now to bite it in IIDX 28.

The three being removed are the more mainstream ones. HAPPY★RUSH, Piano Samurai, Summerlights(IIDX Edition), and AO-∞ will stay for a bit longer.

Not all of the Sinobuz licenses are on the removal list. There's still four more, from what I can see (all from the second unlock event). Happy Rush, AO-∞, Piano Samurai and Summerlights (IIDX Edition). Also, Summer and Sweet Clapper weren't even on the Sinobuz OST, so I'm surprised they didn't get cut sooner.

I'm honestly more surprised those three lasted three games, because there have been other times where the shelf life is less than even that. Don't Stop The Music only lasted two mixes, and before that Get Out and Electric Super Highway were only on one.

This has to be the key. I would imagine that non mainstream licenses, licenses involving IIDX mainstays and licenses used as Extra Stages (like yamabiko (SINOBUZ Edition)) would be cheaper to keep around or give Konami the incentive to keep them around longer. Like how Derelict Star Should’ve been removed in Rootage, but it’s Remo-con & Ryu*, two big names in the series. Atröpøs was removed from SINOBUZ, but was added back to the final build. Konami probably wanted to keep it in the game, until they got another song out of sasakure.UK.

I’m only talking about more recent games. Licenses lasting one or two games at best, was common pre tricoro.
