Hi folks, I've finally some free time, and I've decided to upload the first version of the solo theme, is not tested so much, and can have some bugs and stranger things, I don't remember them, so, if you find any, please report.
An screenshot for reference:

Here is an old preview of the theme, if someone doesn't know how solo 2000 looks:

Here is the link of the repo

As always, comments and questions are welcome. Thanks for your attention, and enjoy the theme!

Maybe I can use this to stop ignoring my 6 panel packages.

love the theme, but it'd be better if the theme don't ignore another songs when Solo BASS/Solo 2000 songs are in the game...
tried the theme with putting another step packs outside the above, and the theme ignores them...

The theme by default is focused to recreate the original game experience, but you can change the default sort in theme options, or trigger the music wheel sort

Just gonna pop in to say, appreciate the theme options in your work allowin use of more modern luxuries with sorting and play options.
...though I do wish some of these were tightened up so I could use your work at parties and with beginner players...😅
Things like having graphics for group items in the music wheel would be rad. Thinking of 2nd mix mode in Inori's X3 theme, or a sorting pop up window like I've seen in some A themes on YouTube.
...cuz I'd reeeally love to use your 1st-4th themes with friends one day. :'D

I will continue updating them all, actually some themes have some features that others don't, but unfortunately I don't have enough time in RL to continue theming at good speed, the 1st gen themes still need a lot of work, but they will be update to fit as much as I can they original counterparts, and expand them a little bit for those that just want to play and doesn't want the accurate simulation. I try to cover old and new gens of gamers
I will try to add the cover for groups in the themes later, I've made some tests years ago, but I haven't finished
I will have to update my ToDo lists, thanks for the feedback.

Oh hell yes! Of course take your time with everything. You've made so many fun, accurate recreations. They're all great as is!
It's just rough seeing beginner players get stuck trying to change the sort or getting stuck somewhere else. 😅
Thank you SO MUCH for all your hard work on these!!

Aww, yes! I've been constantly meaning to set up a copy of StepMania with just the six-panel songs, and now I can do it with a proper theme. (I'd originally just planned to try to find a 4th mix theme, but this is better.)
Although now I can't figure out how to switch back to another theme from inside it.

if it doesnt have a switch theme option, remove the theme that is currently applied from the THEME folder and it will revert back to default

There is actually "change theme" code. Add these lines to the bottom of Themes\_fallback\metric.ini:
[CodeDetector]
NextTheme="MenuLeft,MenuLeft,MenuLeft,MenuRight,MenuRight,MenuRight,MenuLeft,MenuRight,MenuLeft,MenuRight,"
This will apply to all themes (assuming there is no code of it in other themes). You may change the code presses based from your own preference. Press these buttons during Title Screen to switch between themes.
The code I supplied above (for example) is from DDR 2ndMIX's unlock code for Maniac Mode during select mode screen.
[CodeDetector]
NextTheme="MenuLeft,MenuLeft,MenuLeft,MenuRight,MenuRight,MenuRight,MenuLeft,MenuRight,MenuLeft,MenuRight,"
This will apply to all themes (assuming there is no code of it in other themes). You may change the code presses based from your own preference. Press these buttons during Title Screen to switch between themes.

Check your current theme's metric.ini if there is NextTheme code. If yes, you should delete it so that the one from _fallback should work

Yes, thanks everyone; I just edited my preference file directly a few minutes after posting that, but I appreciate the help. I'll play around with adding a code. Or I'll suck it up and learn how to edit themes and add it.
It's a great theme -- no bugs, sharp graphics, completely highlighted that a lot of my banner files for 6-panel songs are ancient blurry things and I need to update my packs, heh.
