I know the game can quantize the arrows all the way up to 192nds, and I was working on a little project for my own amusement that requires I use 192nds.
However, StepMania (3.9) does not allow me to bring the quantization all the way down to the 192nd level in the editor, only to the 64ths. One possible solution would be to write the arrows in 48th time and "Compress 2x" twice, but what a hassle! I have some issues with the re-quantization features in the editor sometimes, and would rather write the arrows directly to the 192nds. Possibly some .ini setting somewhere that doesn't allow anything higher than 64ths?
Also related, mDaWg's ITG2 theme+simfiles and movies is really awesome, and has a much nicer-looking editor. It can go all the way to the 192nds, write arrows, and even allow me to fine-tune BPMs and stops on the thousandth level. But, it has some completely BS feature that doesn't allow you to have more than 50 arrows in one measure. Anyone know how I could alter this? Again, maybe some .ini setting somewhere? This would be an equally helpful alternative to my other problem, with StepMania's quantization.
Many thanks to someone who can help me on either of these two topics.

Either use SM 4.0 CVS, which allows placing 192nds in the editor, or learn to edit the .sm with notepad. The format is pretty simple, just look at practically any song, and you'll figure it out.

I've tried it with notepad, but my main issue is making BPM changes on the 192nds.
Does SM 4.0 CVS have that BS feature where it doesn't allow 50 arrows, like ITG2PC?

No, it doesn't. I got bored once, and filled an entire measure with 192nds on one arrow, just to see what it looked like. Works just fine, and if you use assist tick, it's an unending racket.

Shouldn't the bpm only go up to 16 2/3? After all, 192nds at that are equivalent to 16ths at 200.
16 at 200 = 32 at 100 = 64 at 50 = 192 at 16 2/3
16 at 200 = 32 at 100 = 64 at 50 = 192 at 16 2/3

You forgot the retarded 400 BPM 16ths just before the final deathrun, 33 1/3 BPM.

There aren't any 16ths at 400, and it didn't look like you had the equivalent when I watched the chart at C400.
