I've always been wondering about this, being an aspiring EDM producer myself.
Is anyone here familiar with how people have their songs put in rhythm games? It's not just Bemani either, any rhythm game applies.

Sound voltex does commissions, that'd be the best thing to look into out of any bemani game. Rayark (made cytus, deemo, voez) is also a good place to look. The cytus discord server also has a lot of artists you could reach out for help.

However, you have to live in Japan to enter Sound Voltex contests.

Most arcade rhythm games are either done with in-house artists or reached out to by the teams themselves. Some exceptions are games like Sound Voltex that has contests for song submissions, since it's a game that (originally) focused mostly on doujin artists.

Some rhythm games have had contests where you can send your music (outside of sound voltex I mean). Pump it up has done it a few times now, I know I saw one for DJMAX Respect a while back and Arcaea is having one now I think (might've ended not sure).
So being on the look out for such things is also a good opportunity as well.
