Happy New Year Everyone!
Just wondering if someone can help me out, I'd like to animate an actor in SM5 and I'd like to use effectclock,'beat'; but I want the animation to be timed to the menu music BPM instead of the default 120bpm that the game is set to run at if the user isn't hovering over a song. Is this possible?
If this is possible there is a side question to this - is it possible to adjust the lights mode timing to be not stuck at the default 120bpm when not on a song?
Sorry for grouping the two questions, I may break them into two threads at some point but I figured it'd be better to have it all together for now.
Hope someone can help!
Thanks in advance and I hope you all had a safe and fun new years!

It is definetly possible.
As you're mentioning when the selection isn't happening, this will need something on the Sounds folder.
On the folder, alongside the audio file for the menu, include a .sm file, that goes with the same name of the audio file.
_Music title (loop).ogg
_Music title (loop).sm
In there, add the #BPMS tag with the desired BPM.
#TITLE:Whatver Name!;
#OFFSET:0.000;
#BPMS:0.000=132.000;
#STOPS:;
It could allow several bpm's, but I haven't tried that. Reload the theme and attempt doing effectclock again.
