About Latin American people. The majority of us was dissapointed this list. There are games which should have included it.

Crash Team Rcing
Silent Hill
PES
Resident Evil 2 or 3 (Why Director Cut if we have a remake in wii, ps3 and 4?)

Japan's Playstation Classic gets Devil Dice and the American one doesn't? Booooo. I also wish it was Persona 2 instead of Persona 1 because P1's original localization is reeeeeeal bad. Other than that, this is a pretty solid list, in my opinion.

NGL, I'm a little jealous of the Japanese list; I'd much sooner play Parasite Eve than GTA or Rainbow Six. >>
Here's hoping we get a PS version of Hakchi so I can replace games on there! XD

I’m pretty sure playing Parappa on it’s original form on an HD set would introduce unplayable input lag. Also If you haven’t noticed no GT game has ever been rereleased because well, licensing, music, cars, brands. They all have to be renegotiated to be released again. This thing is cute but it needs 20 hard hitters not some and the rest fillers. The 32-64 bit era are some of the hardest eras to go back to thanks to primitive 3D visuals and wonky controls. This thing is an expensive paper weigh at best. I would not waste 100 on this thing.

I guess you're right... Maybe I'll settle for R4 though... and Tekken 3.

This is still more worth it than the NES/SNES ones...

Unlike the NES/SNES counterparts, a good chunk of these games have aged really poorly - Toshinden, DD, Jumping Flash, Syphon Filter and Rainbow Six specifically. Shit, Toshinden was already dated when it came out. The other games are fairly decent though. JP definitely has a much better lineup with G-Darius and Gradius. Is it worth $100 though? Maybe, leaning towards no.

I heard users in webpages that Resident evil 2 is not necesary adding because of the remake, but that remake it's totally different between the original.
That remake has Resident evil 7 element, different kind of horror, menu items and other things. The exception is the story, but many thing is different. RE 1 not because it's remake it's almost the same adding some weapons and new monster.
About adding Tony Halk, it would be difficult, because it would take effort and work obtain the song licences, and it would be the same if we want DDR 2nd remix or 3rd mix.

Plus there doesn't exist a licensing deal between Activision and Tony Hawk anymore anyway, so it's likely we will never see another Tony Hawk game, remastered, rereleased, or original.

At first, I was astonished to see the rated M rating for the PlayStation Classic, compared to rated T for the SNES Mini and rated E10+ for the NES Mini. On one hand, yeah, Sony could be targeting the more "hardcore" gamers who want GTA, MGS and Resident Evil.
On the other hand, I think the target demographic for these consoles is parents who want a brand name game collection for one low price. Sony makes no mentions of parental controls, but even so, few of the only 20 games are kid-friendly. That's a bad bargain.
How did Sony miss on the opportunity to include the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy (three PS games), Crash Team Racing or even another racer (Speed Punks was published by Sony, Looney Tunes Racing was a license, etc.), some quiz game (You Don't Know Jack is rated T, but Windows had a rated E version; also Millionaire, The Weakest Link, etc.), Namco Museum (Volumes 1-5 worldwide, plus Encore in at least Japan), Tomb Raider (four games), Spyro the Dragon (trilogy), PaRappa the Rapper (as some have said), Rayman (at least the first game) and some filler, like (based on the sales chart) Monopoly? That's at least 16 games, or 20 if Namco Museum counts as five games.
Price-wise, it works out to:
• CA$2.67/game with the NES Classic (CA$79.99 system with 30 games total)
• CA$4.77/game with the SNES Classic (CA$99.99 system with 21 games total)
• CA$6.50/game with the PS Classic (CA$129.99 system with 20 games total)
It's no deal for me. I know some will blame licensing for some of the omissions, but games like GTA and MGS among many others are licenses, yet had no issue being included on the Classic. My recent video (Top 5 Worst Tech Anniversaries) has two PlayStation anniversaries (the 10th and the 20th) in the dishonourable mentions. It's sad to say, but at this rate, the 24th will also be a fail.

Honestly, 6.50 per PS1 game is much better than 2.50 per NES game to me. Because a lot of the NES titles were games you'd play for three or four minutes and then never go back to (hello, Ice Climbers). At least EVERY game in this package have a lot of hours of gameplay in them.

I’m not surprised that the Crash and Spyro trilogies aren’t on the classic, since one has a remaster out and the other has one coming soon.
One of my main detractors to purchasing this is the fact that I have a good chunk of these that I bought for $2 or so through PSN sales. No real incentive to double purchase.
I’ve personally spent plenty of time with the NES games on the classic for the challenge factor alone. But, YMMV I guess.
