I'm trying to make the song-preview still play when selecting a song, similar to how the UltraMix series was.. I am using "SampleMusicPreviewMode_LastSong" but the sample only plays on the Roulette selection, please help!

I'm confused as to what you're asking here, in SM the preview music should always be looping while in the music select screen by default.
Are you trying to get it to play when it says "1st Stage" etc? If not can you explain what you wanted from the video or give a timestamp as to what you're trying to do?

Oh I meant when selecting a music from the songwheel , not looping. I meant when the current song that Is highlighted still plays when selecting different songs still plays until a different song is highlighted.

Sorry for the late reply, I've been mega busy with life stuff. You could try adding the following line to the [ScreenSelectMusic] section of your metrics.ini file:
I haven't tested it myself, I just found it within the SM github. Let me know if it works for you.
