I see where everyone is going, but did he do anything to get him really banned? I suppose that he was at -200 or so but still....

Truthfully? No, he really didn't deserve to be banned, going off-topic and posting somewhat useless posts is not enough to merit a ban, but we have (imo) a poor rating system where having enough people rate you down = ban.

I'd say it was more chronic than sparked by a single event.

As in he made the same mistakes several times in several threads.

The whole "being a postwhore" thing is annoying in itself. Both Pie and I repeatedly told him to stop making awful posts and actually contribute something properly. After repeated warnings, he still wouldn't, and that combined with dropping below -100 was the end of him.

But he did do that but he did help at some points, which everyone just went and skipped what he said.

in responce to Astroman129: yeah, but we eventually ganged up on him for the kill. So that +2 was useless. And look he is still veiwing, wow, if I'd was him (which thank god I'm not, though I try not to be as annoying as he is) i'd GTFO.

In the end he just made too many mistakes. To add onto what Oni said, a lot of people did try to steer him in the right direction countless times, but he just flat out ignored any form of advice given to him and just did the same shit over and over again. It's his fault for not improving, and I guess that's why he's banned.

Either way, fact is I discussed with Alan whether or not to ban him. And he was rather clear in saying yes. So the ban will stand, he isn't getting a third chance.

Also I really would rather we changed the record. Yes, Blocky was here and now he isn't, but...come on, he was hardly an AgentP.

What do you mean by "Ganged up on him"? If you think you were doing something by rating him -5, that is not going to get anyone anywhere. You do know that the -100pts ban rule was removed, right?
