The Official DDR Accomplishments Thread (Read first post, NO STEPMANIA OR ITG)

As I mentioned to Dr. D on AIJ, I do have the X-edit versions of the songs from 2nd mix PFCd but I never got the originals since finding an older mix in Japan is actually rather difficult and I never did get them when they were new. These are lame compared to things like Paranoia Hades but meh, I'm sure after all this 2nd mix fun I'll have no choice but to grind away at the 15+ level songs.

Back to the grind. I felt even more odd having TAKASKE there between my sets tearing things up (kind of; he doesn't have a fair number of 15s and higher on X3 PFCd and was playing those around 970~980k per song; he did have a great Roppongi C run no bar (2 greats) and dominates Paranoia Revolution Double; failed the OMES though)

I AA FC'd tokyoEVOLVED on expert not too long ago. Apparently, it's on stepmania so that's why I'm not posting the video. I just really wanted to share it here.

I was trying to get a 50 or above MC but I think 31 is pretty darn good.

I cannot believe I A'd this song on ! I remember back then I thought I would NEVER be able to play this difficulty (heck even and ). I think I can POSSIBLY FC . If not then definitely AA it.

Well, I finally reached my goal of 50 PFCs (total, not during my visit here in Japan), and with only a few days left too. Though I will try to keep going with the few days left that I have. I have several black flags that I want to get rid of.

I was banned from Gameworks for 9 months and I finally was able to go back yesterday. I went go play Technika for the most part but tried all the DDR machines.

DDR X2 - WTF happened? It is using microswitches for sensors! >_< ughhh probably will never be able to play it again.
DDR SuperNOVA - Only played when someone walked away from the game or if there was extra credit. Pads were not perfect, but playable. iamchris4life really did AAA that whole game lol
DDR X - The best machine there. How the hell did that happen?

ANYWAYS, I decided to play a few rounds of DDR X being the only machine I can get new AAA's on (besides playing SuperNOVA, which I could play for free at work). I honestly thought it was going to be a struggle with the shitty lag and horrible feeling pads, but I overcame the difficulties and came out 3 AAA's ahead.

Awesome. I really hope you can nail it down and settle the issue of whether or not it has been done once and for all.


From this end, I noticed that PASELI disables itself if you haven't played for a while (a few days?) I wouldn't mind except it freaked me out thinking my remaining money on the PASELI account went *poof* though it was all there when I reactivated it from my phone.

Anyways, some more old school stuff I couldn't get back in 1999 or any other mix that had them when they were new. I got this on my lunch break so hopefully if I can get some more time I can quickly unlock and PFC some more of these, especially the Challenge charts on double; I'm quite liking them.

1500 would be a nice number, wouldn't it?

However, even if I finish off all the 2nd mix crossovers and get a few 15s and 16s I don't think there are enough charts remaining on X3 that would get me to 1500. Maybe if I could PFC everything like VDO or DEGRS but yeah, nothing like that is happening anytime soon.

4 days ago I played Extreme in an arcade (Fun Land) and AAA'd Genom Screams on Extreme for the 4th (?) time, while playing a set with someone and didn't realize till the end that I AAA'd it lol. Ended up getting a great within the first 100 steps of One More Extra Stage so I failed and had 56 total greats for the set. LAME! lol I usually get 6 or so Greats on LOM with no practice, but I'm terrible at reverse. (I got 43 greats LMAO!!!)
