I can't believe about the shooting in Connecticut today. I found out about this when one my classmates mentioned it in US History. My teacher was literally crying (and I can't blame her either). What's even more frightening is that my whole family lives there (I was born there) and some of them who go to school were only about 15-20 minutes away from the school the shooting took place.

I thank god that none of my family members were involved. And some of my family from there are visiting today too so they couldn't believe the news either. It's just sad man. I feel like this is starting to become a trend with these mass shootings.

God rest the souls to those innocent children and adults.
