I forgot to post my work experience yesterday, so here we go.

Yesterday, while I was stocking an aisle with my good coworker, he mentioned that a girl was stalking him like crazy. At first, I didn't really take it seriously because we always joke around with each other with those matters, but I didn't know until later on that this was a very disturbing manner at hand.

I went outside to get some shopping carts back inside, and when I came back to fill the aisles, some random girl was next to my coworker. From what I was hearing, it sounded like she was giving him her last name. I couldn't remember what it was, but if I did, I still wouldn't mention it in this thread, but I will give you her first name later on.

Anyways, this girl, dressed in pajamas, was a teenager who had a slouchy physique, a shady attitude, and a moronic mindset. In other words, a stereotypical YOLO-er. She had a stroller which was carrying a baby boy, which I assumed was her son. All those factors are turn-offs in my book, but I decided to play along and see what she was up to, and why she was stalking with my coworker.

I asked for her name, which was Samantha. The first thing she mentioned while we began our conversation was that she is graduating from North Schuylkill High School, the school me and my coworker graduated from last year. This didn't really make me think of anything too negative, but that was about to change. Samantha was looking to get a job at where I work, and she asked if they give drug tests before they hire a person. After we mention that they don't, she looked at us with relief and excitement, then stated that she doesn't do drugs.




Then, my coworker got called by the manager to come to the back room for something. I was then left with Samantha, who still had this gaudy attitude of hers. This is where things starts to get a little crazy.

I bring up the topic on her getting a job, and she's like:

"I really need to get away from my boyfriend, or else I might get charged with murder or something."




I honestly could not believe what she said, so I wanted her to explain herself about her situation with her boyfriend. She then asked me if I have a girlfriend. After answering that I had one, she then tells me her boyfriend has one. I don't know what that means, but it sounds like her boyfriend is cheating on her and she's okay with it. Makes no sense at all. Then she says this:

"I really hate my boyfriend, I really need to get away from him. He's such a fucking dick and does nothing but yell at me, but he's really cute, though."




No words came out of my mouth after that.

I will never understand why some people can't just end their relationships if they're that unhappy with it. Or why some people feel like they need to be in a relationship in the first place. Admittedly, I used to be the kind of person who felt like they needed to be in a relationship, but at this point I'm fine with being single for a while. The girl you're talking about probably only stays with her douchebag boyfriend to fit in with everyone else who has a boyfriend/girlfriend.

I never had a relationship. I'm happy with that. Having a girlfriend seems to be troublesome, and I do think it's not the right time for me.

I made the decision to leave my band yesterday, typed up a long message saying how it was like nothing personal, just wasn't the kind of music I wanted to play and I wasn't happy with the direction we were heading, it wasn't an attack or anything like that I feel it was well worded and would be an appropriate way to leave but oh man my singer/guitarist went mental. Started really guilt tripping me into staying but really I was having none of it, it wasn't like a decision I'd barely thought of, this has been on my mind for almost 6 months so I wasn't gonna go back on my word. But yeah she started guilt tripping me bad saying shit like "I really needed this band" and posting depressing tweets on Twitter basically saying "never trust anyone they'll smash your dreams in seconds" and it's like.. I'm not a twat and I wrote a really good message to hopefully stay on good terms and avoid all the awkwardness but nope, didn't happen..

I knew it was never going to be an easy message to write and I knew there'd be SOME kind of backlash but this is a bit over the top and it makes me a feel a bit shitty to be honest. Sigh.

Before I head over to my parent's house for dinner, I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating, I hope you all have a wonderful time
