Let It Out

I have no idea whether I want a WiiU for Christmas or not. I have the money to get one, it's just that usually when I but a new console I wait about a year for decent titles to come out. Sadly with the 3DS that hasn't happened, so I'm wary that Nintendo might be falling into a trap of having decent tech but no good enough titles for the first few years.

Well the WiiU will (Hopefully) change that streak. I may pick it up, but I want to wait and see how it does for like the first month or so.

Right now the best Wii is the Wii. Seriously, all those NES, SNES, N64, Sega, NeoGeo, whatever games plus everything released for the Wii and the 'Cube (unless you got donkey'd into buying the revised Wii). You want a system with a lot of games? HOOLEE COW, the Wii has a lot of games.

And because of the Wii U, look at all those cheap, recently-dusted-off Wiis being sold online!

I got a Wii Christmas '07. I like it quite a lot, in particular the back compatability, it's just that it's lacking in certain genres I like playing (in particular simulation racing games, there's pretty much only one choice, and that's Ferrari Challenge, which was based off a PS3 game and really can't hold a candle to GT/Forza/Shift.)

Fortunately Project C.A.R.S. for the WiiU is looking a very tasty prospect indeed.

The moment it's announced you know I will jump THROUGH the window of my local games store, slam £250 on the counter and yell "WIIU NOOOOW"

Yeah, I hope they do make a new F-Zero. I really liked GX/AX, but they never made any other sequels after that.

There were 2 GBA games after GX but one was Japan only

I will pretty much wait until there's a new Zelda game or the next SSB, so that will take a while.

If the new F-Zero game comes with a track editor like F-Zero X DD I will splooge everywhere. It shouldn't be too difficult to put in, I mean, the craft editor was originally from XDD and that made it in GX, so naturally this should be the next logical step.

Ah, Nintendo jokes just write themselves...

They should write the Zero part in a really small font. Like what they did on that OJ Simpson book If I Did It.

Weird, the books that got sent to my book store (right before being recalled and pulped) had the whole title in the same font point, but the word If was a different color.
