CROSS×BEATS (iOS)

I found its bark is actually worse than its bite. It's nigh impossible to sightread, but during the ULC, I logged onto my iPhone alt, did one play where I just watched the chart run without trying to hit anything, and it suddenly made a lot more sense after that.

The first thing to realize is that the middle notes and the note at the bottom all flip horizontally with every iteration, and the 4 notes in a diamond shape flip vertically after every second iteration.

The second thing to realize is that the downward flick on the left is always at the same point in each measure, it's the upward flick that changes. On odd-numbered iterations the upward flick is an 8th note before the downward flick, on even-numbered iterations it's an 8th note after the downward flick.

Put it another way, the rhythmic pattern is:
Count,Odd : 1---2---3---4---
Taps, Odd : x.xxo.xxxxx.o...
Flick,Odd : ..........^.v...
Count,Even: 1---2---3---4---
Taps, Even: x.xxo.xxxxx.o...
Flick,Even: ............v.^.

where x are the tap notes that flip horizontally each time, o are the tap notes in the top right corner which don't flip, and ^ and v are the flicks.

Is anyone else experiencing the game crashing randomly after clearing a song? It's almost become constant for me. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but there has been no improvement. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Lots of people had that same problem. The only fix I could find is to reset your iDevice. That will stop the crashing, at least for a while.

Well, spt bonus should have started already but there seems to be an issue, since bonus isn't active yet.

About the issue I commented above, according to the news feed, it seems there will be a special 17:00 - 19:00 bonus time every single day of this event, so now bonus times are 11:00 - 14:00, 17:00 - 19:00 and 21:00 - 25:00.

光年 is read "kōnen", not "mitsutoshi" (hence the parenthesized "konen"). Where do you find all these weird romanizations?

Not to be pessimistic but we are 6 months into 2016 and CROSS×BEATS has only gotten 2 completely original exclusive songs from CAPCOM:
* ASTAROTH
* S.T.E

So that's rather annoying but I can't say I don't appreciate these new remixes at all. And the Bi-Zon Zon Zombi skin is adorable.

Not sure about mitsu but toshi is the other way to pronounce 年, but definitely not the case here.

The Mitsu comes from some japanese names, as for Toshi... I got that from wikipedia.

Anyone here has ホコロビシロガールズ or 大殺界がらくたシンパシー?

Speaking of which, 年 can also be read as "nen" which means " x year" where x is a number and 光 can also mean light (read as "kou"?) so I am guessing it literally translates to light years
