Does anyone think we will see some of the songs from sn2 and before that we haven't seen yet on this game?
It is hard to believe we are less then two weeks away!!! I am so excited.
I pray that we get the rest of our crossovers though. I would love to play fire fire at home on a cs game.
I wonder what the next two reveals will actually be. I highly doubt we are gonna get any completely brand new boss songs. It would be nice to get more X3 songs and some revivals though.

We'll probably see some of them, since most AC port DDR releases since at least SuperNOVA have had at least a few songs we missed from previous versions (such as Blue Implse, Under the Sky, Moonster, A Geisha's Dream, Groove Radar Specials, etc.), and since this is the only DDR this year, they have nowhere else to put them. Since they're being smart this year, I'd say the chances may be in our favor.Post #1864 · Posted at 2011-09-28 10:21:56pm 14.3 years ago

It would be extremely AWESOME if the next reveal was all the X-specials!

Aren't the x specials challange only? I would enjoy them if they added the other difficulties. I am really pulling for L'amour et la Liberte's remix to be on this game. I am guessing that we are going to get well over 80 songs judging on how we are going. I'm guessing 84 to 88 songs.

We'll probably see some of them, since most AC port DDR releases since at least SuperNOVA have had at least a few songs we missed from previous versionsWe already got two songs from DDR X, I actually think the rest of the songs will be the X2 crossovers and more new songs.

Even though I'm all for getting the stuff we haven't seen yet I would rather us get our crossovers and more brand new X3 stuff. Maybe we will get a combo of everything.

Neither. DJ Technorch said that it is spoken in a very specific way. But going on how on a roll they are (La Libertad, Double Tornado, Bonafied Wubbin'), it's very likely he'll say it as Eight Eight Eight.
EDIT: Check and re-check post before hitting enter.

Bunkatsu?
It's a japanese number pun that means "divide it into 8 pieces" (Divide it in half, divide it in half, divide it in half), which kind of describes the song's musical movements.
But yeah, they'll probably almost certainly just prounounce it "eight eight eight"

Judging from the E3 demo, the announcer won't say the name at all.

They need to stop using number puns :{
Can anyone better explain the connection to 88 states of Shikoku? That makes less sense than "Double Ace" :{

Eeeeehhhhhh i would much rather have X2 crossover + new to DDR II/DDR X3 songs than having all the X-specials appear in this game to be honest with you, i would have hoped they could have at least put them as DLC for PS3/360 but we ALL know how well that game went If anything and if this game has the ability, i wouldn't mind having them as DLC for this game or future appearances/DLC for next year's DDR CS.

Maybe "Eight-Eight-Eight". That's how I've been saying it. 8D;

What's that mean?No fucking clue.
"Hachiya" means "eighty-eight". The tweet explains that the name is a reference to the Shikoku Island Pilrimage, in which buddhists travel the Japanese island of Shikoku, to vist 88 different shrines.
"Soba" means "nearby" or "next to".

I really hope 2MB aka U1 makes an appearance in this game. I'd love to see a boss from him.

Thisssss. Oh god this. But not the boss part; I think we've seen enough 2MB bosses, it's starting to seem a bit stale IMO.Maybe we could get a remix of a normal song from him, not a boss one--like La Senorita Virtual as opposed to Pluto ~Relinquish~. I preferred the former to the latter anyway, both in music and steps. And there's a lot of X2 stuff that I could see him remixing... Though, we've already got a lot already, so even if he doesn't do anything, I'd be happy with the game as it is. Just wishful thinking is all.
