I wouldn't doubt it. From what I can remember, SN2 US AC was released a few months after the JP version. They're probably going to do some location tests over the summer and release it in the fall/winter.

Was the American release also not announced by the time the Japanese release was out?

I'm not entirely sure. All I can remember is that they started having SN2 US location tests around the same time it was released in Japan.

that DDRX2 is delayed to the beginning of July.

But I heard that already some arcades received a mail about release delay from KONAMI

They announced the release date before two weeks at the time of DDRX

Most of arcades had not receieved any response from KONAMI until yesterday.

Meaning they want the arcade and the console games to come out at the same time? Has Japan ever suffered delayatosis like this before?

I think it probably has something to do with PASELI, as it was full of bugs at the location test in May.
