I had no choice, a rival team player single-handed brought the team from 0 to 2,000,000+ within the final two hours of the event, which toppled our previously "assured" 1,900,000+ score. This guy was playing nonstop, so I decided to raise my team's score......I wound up using 30 PT (earned) + 70 PT (purchased) AND all 30,000+ Link Energy just to keep up with him, and he STILL passed me up!!

I was playing a shared ホコロビシロガールズ (MASTER) and was getting a consistent 49000~50000+ score with the x1.5 boost, so that's 73500~75000 points per play. Even with this, he was still passing me up despite his teammates not sharing ANY of the 3rd section event songs!! I can only assume he was constantly getting near the max score of this song nonstop!

None of my teammates played except for one, during the final 10 minutes...I ended stopping at 3,500,000+, as I've reached enough personal points to get Flame Up. My teams have 1/3 wins, so I had no choice...and I really needed that extra hour to rack up the 5,000,000 personal points needed for the song. We lost this round by 200,000 points, but at least I'm not walking away empty handed; that REV. Sunrise skin should also be mines unless my rank could drop from 919 to 1001+ in less than 10 minutes.

I have an interesting story of my own from this event:



2nd round, we were basically locked in a close battle with the other team. Or should I say, one guy on the other team who had already scored about 4M with a couple days to spare in the event. On my team, I was contributing about 1/3rd of the score, and my usual battle partner contributed a bit more than that. We'd surpass their score, then the guy carrying the rival team would grind out another million and overtake us again.

Then with about a day and a half left, he changed his profile comment to say he would try to make it a tie -- which, according to the fine print in the event rules, is a double win (except a 0-0 tie is a double loss). Then most of us on both teams, myself included, also changed our comments to accept. And it actually worked, he scored the exact amount to tie, then nobody else touched the event songs for the last couple hours.

^: Hahaha awesome story, Poochy! For getting a tied score, I think that one party must do some exact calculations and play very accurately without making a mistake, especially with such exorbitantly high scores, am I right?

Well, I noticed that your score only counts when you get to the results screen, i.e. if you hit Retry or Exit, it doesn't count. So my guess is he just tried to get as close as he could without going over, then for the last couple hundred points he could just retry until he gets exactly that number, then stop playing for the rest of the song. Your score does still count even if you fail, I noticed this myself after screwing up on Ultimate Mode a couple times.

I see I see, that makes sense. I remember one time, I was asked by a rival player to tie the score, but I was like "how lucky of situation that'd have to be!", but now I'm more aware of the actuality of the whole thing. Next time, I just might take up an offer now that I know how it'd be executed. ;)

Yeah, our event was really boring so me, cowtao, and our one active random just had fun for the entire event.

Score always counts, even if you chose the song previous to the event's start screen. I tend to do that from time to time.

Let's say an event starts (usually) at 3:00pm japanese timezone. What I do is to wait with full refill until, let's say, 1 hour and 40 minutes before event begins (that's 1:20pm (japan timezone) ) and then just choose a song among the ones who will participate on the event. Next step is leaving the song in Pause until 3:00pm. If you dd that and clear the song within event's scheduled time, score will count as event points regardless the song was chosen when the even has't even started. That and the ticket time-slipping bugs are quite useful on CxB.

That sounds like a rather extra way to save 5 tickets.

You can't add friends by profile name. Your ID is the 8-digit number that appears right under the word "PROFILE" on your profile page.

Use this spreadsheet as a guide for unlocking songs. You can only unlock the songs with a white background in the Unlock Criteria column for now. Page 7 also has all of the permanent missions and their rewards but I haven't finished it yet.

Casino x Beats (aka RSF) started a few hours ago and someone on twitter already got Code Paradiso. Lv. 70 on Master. Also, it seems the song information on Collection Menu is in English.

Just finally got my yellow ULC for Code Paradiso! Unlocked the Master chart in about 15 minutes and the Hard in a single play, sharing them now. I'll get around to the Standard soon.

Most of them have been in English due to correlation of the record label being mostly English artist. The only ones that didn't have english were Relect and KO3's songs.

Hello everyone!! After discussing RSF with some fellow players, I decided to create the world's first CROSSxBEATS Random Select Festival (RSF) Simulator! It's browser-based and free to use of course.







DETAILS:
-You are given 10000 PREMIUM TICKETS to use.
-The simulator will keep track of your progress.
-Added a USD conversion factor as a bonus.

HIT RATIO INFORMATION:
***Based on my experience as well as experience from others, I've created the algorithm and set it to the following percentages:

Blue Unlock Challenge: 2.5% chance
Green Unlock Challenge: 1.75% chance
Yellow Unlock Challenge: 1% chance
Rare Yellow Unlock Challenge: 0.25% chance

In all other cases, you will just get a RANDOM song.


NOTE:
Although these aren't the actual figures that CAPCOM uses (only they know), I believe that they are at least close to accurate to some degree based on the data I collected.

Sometimes you get lucky, while other times, you may be unlucky. Results will vary per person per simulation.

Anyways, please try out the simulator and see what you can...you can run the simulation and compare as many times as you like.

I recognize you did quite well there, but Random S<beep> F<beep>stival is still based heavily on RP... I remembered when I got the only "main prize" on a RSF; HAKKYOU KUN's second song... and it took me about 240 tries (1220 tickets more or less), while Poochy, for example, had to do no more than 150 tries to get it. Then I insist, thr event relies heavily on RP and on users who got almost everything unlocked "just for them not to get bored" and, of course, "to gather money".

In other news, there will be a server maintenance on June 6th between 9:30 and 12:00 (Japan Timezone), and an app update will be released afterwards. It seems songlists changes will finally be applied.

PS: Regarding our favorite event, 7 days, almost 400 (green) tickets spent, and got n-o-t-h-i-n-g.
