So I've been playing a few credits of DDR the past two days. Three days ago now we got DDR X3 in NZ, first one newer than supernova 2 in the bloody country.
It's pretty sweet, though 1p left died on my second credit. It got fixed later.
Loving I'm so happy, also there's some other chart I think by Ryu star, it's all 'start on the yellow, do a few crossovers, do a crossover into a jump a few times', it's 110 bpm and really nice and laid back. New favourite DDR song I think.

That's not 110bpm, it's way faster.
Also, can't wait to play that X3 machine this Sunday.

i/o isn't really laid back.
It's also an 11 footer. Though I can't remember if it's in the x2 or x3 folder.
I see myself playing a fair bit more of it though.
Also working on an applied human computer interaction essay.
This thing is kicking my ass, but I'm finally getting back up with it. Bummer is I've got so much other work to do too, and it's due tomorrow.
Ohwell. Busy busy.

So now I know how to use a large format printer effectively, use a plotter, and making my first car wrap at work. And I'm only two weeks in.
Also made my manager's little boy really happy by making him a Dallas Cowboys wallet with some leftover printing material and a little creativity.

So Amanda Palmer's giving a concert at Bard in September.
Bard = School for me.
I dunno who this Amanda Palmer chick is, but I'll give her sound a go.

There's no Ryu☆ song at 110 BPM afaik
APPEND: There are 4 songs in DDR X3 VS 2ndMIX that's 110 BPM at one point:
That's The Way (I Like It)
INSERTiON
Beautiful Inside (Cube::Hard Mix)
怒れる大きな白い馬

When I was looking for a summer job last year, I was going to be hired for a few weeks so they would teach me how to use that (a plotter). Unfortunately that didn't happen Post #18176 · Posted at 2012-08-19 11:09:04am 13.4 years ago

Aww, sorry. :<
It's not very hard to be honest. It gets difficult when you design something, print it out, then have to use the plotter to cut out that design. You have to create the crop marks in Ai, then align them on the machine panel and make sure it recognizes them or it will cut everything wrong (it's worse when the design has a Stroke on it). It's pretty cool to see the needle cut out the material though. The other technical stuff like pressure is also something you have to learn but it's not too much of a big deal.
Out of all my responsibilities, the car wraps and screen printing are the most hectic.

Had a good time yesterday at Star City (a theme park). I rode the Carousel (a classic), Dragon Express (kiddie coaster), Blizzard (high speed coaster), Viking (Pirate Ship pendulum ride) a circular boat river ride that I forgot the name to and Surf Dance (best described as a giant taffy-puller ride kind of ride).
I don't know why I did it, but I rode the Viking twice in a row. When I first exited the ride, I was feeling slightly dizzy, then everyone suggested we line up again, which I did. While waiting, I got nervous that I might hurl while on the ride and asked for Mint to chew on. Luckily, I managed not to throw up afterwards and throughout the whole day. The Haunted attractions were suddenly so corny, can't imagine that I was scared shitless the last time I went into one of those on my last trips.
While there were no Bemani games (I tried looking for them), like what that guy said in another thread, "Who goes to [insert theme park name here] to play [insert name of Bemani arcade game here]?"

I decided to sort through all my music and keep what I listen to. My music library was around 130GB when I started and now it's 7.77GB.

This is all that's left. Feels weird, man.

Demon Days is an excellent choice. Was that the only Gorillaz you had?
