I cannot believe I am back to my past project.

So I went to Warped Tour yesterday and pretty much had the time of my life. Minus the excessive crowd surfers during Breathe Carolina's set, it was the most fun I've had in years. Mostly because of the people I was with, but yeah. Definitely a great experience.

So my Dad is giving me a choice for a car

A. Get a brand new car (He's thinking of a Chevy Sonic or Cruze)

or

B. Let me have his used 2006 Pontiac G6. 50K miles on it already

I'm going tomorrow to see what the Chevy cars are like

I have the predecessor to the Cruze and it handles really well and it's roomy despite the outer appearance. I've heard alot of good things about the Cruze as well as other Chevrolet cars. Have fun with that tomorrow.

I'd suggest another alternative to a brand-new car. Is your father strictly looking at domestic entries?
From what I know, the Cruze is the heaviest or close out of many compact entries. Both the Cruze and Sonic also don't have as great gas mileage from what the competition offers.

So my mom came home from work last night pissed off, and her fiance was complaining that me pounding on my 360 controller trying to play BlazBlue's God-awful Challenge Mode was annoying. I decide maybe I'll take care of the after-dinner dishes for them so they can relax for the night.

Mom: Wow, what's the occasion? Were you bored?
Me: Well, you came home looking angry, and Brian said I was annoying him by beating the heck out of my game, so I figured I'd take care of this for you guys.
Mom (flatly): Oh. I wasn't aware that was what it took to get you to do dishes. I don't know what to say.

*INITIATE MATERNAL APESHIT PROTOCOL*

At this point, she just lost it. She's throwing dishes around, slamming doors, and screaming about how the only reason she comes home angry is because I apparently spend the entire day doing nothing and how I'm wasting my life being a huge, embarassing failure. I tried asking her fiance what the hell I did wrong, and he can't figure it out either.

Bitch didn't even say "thank you" for washing the dishes.
