Agreed, I think most people, even someone who's as critical and often pessimistic as me, can agree that overall (and while it IS early days) this is shaping up to be one of the best arcade DDR mixes ever, rubbing shoulders with EXTREME and X2 for me.

I would NOT call A a disappointment. It's easily a top 5 of mixes, and I personally rank it right between X2 (top) and EXTREME (third) in content. The only thing it was arguably lacking was poppy/euro songs; and the ratio of good to "less good" content was way above average. None of the songs were groaners, either.
A20 is building on that pretty well; but I still think some of the covers are hit-and-miss.

imo DDR A had better quality in terms of content, compared to DDR 2014 at least. But if A20 would also last for 3 years, we are off to a very, very good start.
On a different note, I wonder what UI improvements will be made next in the future for A20... We got darker screen filters now, so that's the first. Timing offset settings like in IIDX/SDVX, perhaps? Or shrinking the combo counter?

Not gonna lie, it caught me off guard that the BGM of A20 is actually made by SYUNN and not by U1 or Sota.
The song itself is so good, and for this moment is the best BGM of the latest versions of DDR

I started out not being a fan of this BGM compared to EDSM but it grew on me really quick and now that it's actually a full song i love it, godspeed SYUNN

I thought the BGM was U1 but now that I hear the full thing it's definitely very SYUNN, and a great game-length track too, a lot more interesting than EDSM (which was a fine BGM but didn't really have much to offer as a playable song).

Goddamn that's a really good song. I actually thought Ace out was going to be this edition's EDSM but I wasn't really sure if SYUNN would compose a song like that.
Sucks it's a golden cab exclusive but I think it would be interesting to see a blue version of the jacket if the Golden League songs ever appear on old cabs
