Donkey Donk- Plays fine, but I noticed the significant amount of copy/paste, and the lack of 8th notes feels like an intentional timesaver.
Lifework- I enjoyed much of the chart, but some of the 16th triplets did not seem to go to the song at all, and do not feel right with me.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to resign from the Simfile Shuffle this year. I don't have the time or the wifi at the right times to participate. Along with this I need to focus on getting SN3 done. I apologize for any inconveniences and good luck to those participating!

Break time!
Just like last year, we will now take one week off for the holiday break.
In this break period, skeletons for Rounds C and D are accepted, but file submissions and voting are not open yet.
If you would like to make some changes to your Round C file, please do so.
The shuffled list for Round C will be revealed on 26 Dec, 17:00 UTC. The next 10 rounds will run without any interruptions.

Well that's something I didn't see coming. :P

Also, with the break, I think I have more than enough time to play through all difficulties of the Round B files and see if any of the files' lower difficulties hold something special.

A few of you may have your skeletons altered because of having BPM changes that are just half or double the base BPM. This rule isn't stated in the original post and I feel like not explaining this rule is being unfair to them. I would like to apologise if what I've done has negatively impacted you guys.

So here are some clarifications for putting BPM changes and/or stops:

Stops: Only the necessary ones
If not putting the stops causes the song to be offsync (blue/yellow/etc note syndrome or just offsetting), put them in. Otherwise, don't.

Double/half BPM changes: Not allowed
Even if the song warrants a double/half BPM change, don't put them in. All the decisions on those kinds of BPM changes will be done by the stepper, so it fully reflects their stepping styles.

Scroll mods, waves, and other decorations: Not allowed
If the skeleton is from your WIP, please only keep the BPM changes that keep the song in sync.

TL;DR: Skeletons should keep the music in sync, but that's it.
Note that these rules are only for skeletons. For the actual simfile, go nuts.

As a stepper, you should now get skeletons with almost no BPM changes and/or stops, save for a few special cases. Your job is to improve this whenever appropriate. The actual process of flavouring the simfile should be done by you and you only. Make your simfile stand out!
