SIM UPDATE 7/10: Revised LastMint's chart since the original doublestepping idea didn't quite work out (making it more twisty-turny instead, changed rating from an 8 to an 9), and fixed a missing arrow in Color's chart and tweaked some patterns.

Also added a cdtitle to my files. If you already downloaded the simfiles there's no real need to download it again unless you really want to make sure who made a certain file.

I was hoping to get in another, easier chart to serve as
so I could move the 10-footer up to the slot, but I'm fresh outta time. That's what I get for picking such a frenetic song! I'll probably rerelease this after the Contest with all of these charts moved up one slot, adding new and charts.Speaking of song choice, you can probably expect more Show & Tell artists to pop up among my submissions for later categories. My shortlist for this category was 7 artists strong, with a few more that I eliminated for the flimsiest of reasons just to narrow the list down!
Let me know if the volume seems too low on your setup. The audio is already as amplified as it can be without clipping, but when I was playtesting it, the volume still sounded significantly lower than the average simfile. The volume sounds fine on my headphones, so I'm guessing it depends on the speakers' ability to replicate the very low bass of this song. I tried experimenting a little bit with dynamic range compression, but couldn't get it to not sound weird in the time I had. I can try again later if other people have problems with it.

Great! I have plenty of simfiles for this week!
Anyways, the video issue with my simfile, Maybe (We Should Call It A Day), should be rectified, with the custom ZIP now having the video (which is now a .mpeg), and the normal ZIP/individual files being adjusted to suit. I also forgot to mention that some of the instrumentation relies on a left speaker, just in case any steps appear to go to nothing...

If it were me, I'd have probably put this as the first week, it's less exclusive than the Show & Tell week and ideally you'd want the widest choices first, I'd reckon.

Heavy metal track that's fit better in GITADORA series than EZ2DJ/EZ2AC. But the song is cool! (This is the first simfile from EZ2AC in z-i-v, and first simfile that composed by Ferrum)

Unfortunately, I won't be able to put out a Week 1 file because I was on vacation. I've even thought of my Week 1 song, but that has to wait as it doesn't fit the requirement for Week 2. I'll most likely do Week 2, though. Good luck everyone for this week! It's looking pretty tough.

I updated the SM/DWI files for Maybe (We Should Call It A Day) again. No need to redownload, but keep in mind I added a small freeze (an 8th note long) to the left arrow in the left-down jump at beat 262.5, according to Stepmania 3.9 (2 (minutes): 11 (seconds): 22 (milliseconds) into the song).

Why, you ask? Because the artist of this song is one of my best friends! IRL.
I Just Wanna See You is a story that says it all in the title & chorus. It's a fun, catchy R&B/Pop track written, produced, and performed by Quinton Jones, featuring Vannah Rai's vocals. He let me listen to this a while ago (in the beginning of 2015, actually), and I knew it was going to be stepped. This, along with 5 of his other songs, was used in a series of album covers for my senior thesis.
The video also features Quinton in a small town with his friends, when he gets a call from his love interest that takes him away from his friends and into his own little world, not realizing everything that's going on in the background (to see everything, you'll have to watch the entire video, which I'll have to see if he's ready for me to distribute that link). What also cool about this video is that I'M IN IT (I included my appearances in the video cut lol, wonder which one is me?)
Anyway, tidbit information aside, I tried to make this file really fun, I hope you enjoy it!
