"jubeat knit one, purl two"
Whoa, some songs don't have Doubles entries (which would make it even crappier if that's true).

For Fusion, yes. That's the only canon EU game with some songs without Doubles. SUCK.

Pretty dissatisfying, but not as bad as no Doubles at all (please include it, HP2).

With two pairs of Wii remotes and nunchucks? Laughing Out Loud

I've never been that bothered with doubles. Last time I played it was when I got out both my mats for SuperNOVA so me and my mate could play, and when she got bored I ended up having a go on doubles for the hell of it. To be honest I've always preferred a really well made singles chart, hopefully with a side order of music video and extra lyrics on the side.

Which is not hard to get. Doubles is different, though, since so many charts are easier than or equivalent to Singles. >_<

The main difficulty of Doubles is that you have to learn how to play both pads at once, and even when you've mastered that there's crazy shit like Exotic Ethnic making you spin in a figure eight at high speeds, Kiss Kiss Kiss which is a minute and a half of chaos, Be in My Paradise which is 10 times more awesome than Bag... the list goes on.

You're kidding right?

I tried Doubles for the first time ever on my local EuroMIX2 for the lovely rip off price of £2 just to see what it was like and nearly ended up tripping on the metal edges of the pads, and that was just on Basic. The concept I understand but the execution takes some getting used to, and is definitely not worth the bother in a UK arcade unless you've got money to burn.

Doubles is the ultimate seaside mode, where most of the arcades are set to 50p a credit.

Lol, don't worry. I've stepped out of the pad and stacked it a few times when trying doubles for the first, I dunno, 3 times? XD

I wasn't saying the mode is easier, I was saying the rhythm would be easier to step (for example, Pink Rose D-Expert is like the Single counterpart except some eighth streams are replaced with quater jumps and freeze arrows are removed).

Same. Annoyed

Despite my crappy doubles skills (hardest song completed on doubles was FELM Light ), I plan to try my first 10 footer doubles chart...

CHAOS Heavy

Why don't you try Genom Screams? That will probably be my next 10 =P
Yeah doubles will trip you up at first, but once you get used to it there is some really amazing stuff you can do. An example: Make Your Move Heavy. It's pretty much all alternating 8th stream at 120, but doubles movement lets you move in more varied distances so there are more patterns to work with.
Play my game Arcana Seal of Rimsala (SNES)!

There's just one problem with Genom Screams.

There aren't any stops for me to regain my composure. ;)

Being a pretty new doubles player and an avid CHAOS player, I'm using the stops to my advantage hence "Stops FTW". Surprised

Eh, Genom Scream's middle is mostly single steps and freeze arrows. How's that for a break? =P
Chaos definitely has less stream and voltage though, but I see the Heavy steps as more of an 8 or 9 unless you're going for full combo.

Oh and if you still have an Extreme by you, Ordinary World and So Deep are amazing stream practice on doubles.

Ordinary World on Doubles is either easy and cool or keeps trying to spin you around depending on which foot you start on. Happy

I would rather writing training edits to better my two-pad crossover skills. Puppy Face
