14.8 (?) - A lot of 16th gallops at 170 BPM, especially a few of them containing random crossover patterns, will seem challenging to most players. And with an Afronova walk at around note 100 (?), this is a chart that can get away with being a DDR 15.

EDIT: If possible, whomever gives the DDR X rating in decimal, could you explain why you give it that rating, please?

I think what you don't remember me mentioning is that you don't round up decimals for this game. A 15 goes from 15.0 to 15.9, not 14.5 to 15.4. The logic behind me setting it up this way is that no matter how easy you make a chart (i.e. put one arrow in the entire chart lol), you can't rate it lower than 1 - hence the minimum difficulty would be defined as 1.0.

That chart I mentioned is nowhere near a 14, mines or no mines. You should probably play more charts on pad (especially officials) to understand how hard those arrangements get. The crossovers, jumps, 16th trills and runs in that are collectively a lot harder than you think they are. Add that to the fact that the chart has 640+ steps in under 2 minutes.

As for the Plan 8 chart I made, the 16th candles at 212 BPM are really killer and are level 18 material. They're just not long enough to completely wipe you out, as I've also given the player breaks and recovery zones. I'd put it about on par with IX Expert, or 17.8.
