ok it does sound a bit like around 138 - 142. KONAMI sometimes make things a bit complicated with the BPM counter (or maybe not).

It's probably a coding error they forgot to change. Like how most UM/UNI songs are rounded down, as opposed to up (Butterfly says 134, even though it's coded as 134.999).
Or they could have just uploaded the BPM display wrong (Whip It from UM3 says 131-199, yet the song hovers around 157 the whole time...)

It's bad enough they started listing songs with pauses as "0 BPM", but some of them are actually wrong. Insaner is listed as 125-175, but they just arbitrarily chose 125 as the BPM after the steps end. What I'd Say is 162, but that's only for one measure. Most of the song is between 170 and 180. I always forget and use a speed mod that's too fast.

Quick Master is actually 145.
DoLL in DDR Strike was listed as 150 when it was actulaly 170. The correct BPM was changed when it showed up in SN.

I know the simfile for Quick Master on this site's DWI file is listed as 145 without any changes, but I could have sworn each of the 15 or so times I played it in Sparkle (finally passed Sparkle on Monday), there is a part in there where it *seems* the arrows slow down a little. It's a small enough change that I didn't get goods or below on the arrows, but it still seemed to change BPM.

Is the Pop'n version longer than the original? If it is, then possibly the extended version has small tempo changes. Hell, it's not uncommon. Look at Sockem.
